EV charger rebates, by utility

25 programs on file across 10 states, all reviewed on 27 August 2026. Every card carries the date it was checked and a source. Where a utility pays nothing, that is stated — an absence is a finding, not a gap.

What is marked unverified, and why

8 figures on this site come from somewhere other than the utility’s own current terms. They are shown, because hiding them would be worse, but they are marked — and the calculator never deducts an unverified amount from an estimate.

UtilityReportedWhy it is marked
SRP $250 Amount comes from a secondary aggregator, not from SRP's own program terms. Confirm with the utility before relying on it.
APS Existence unconfirmed Program existence itself is unconfirmed. We will not record an amount, and we will not record an absence, until APS's own pages have been read.
DTE Energy Amount not published The eligibility change is confirmed; the dollar amount is not published by DTE and we will not invent one.
Consumers Energy Unconfirmed Not yet checked against the utility's own pages.
Duke Energy Florida Charger Prep Credit The Charger Prep Credit amount is not stated in the announcement we read. The $7.50/month off-peak credit is stated. We show what is sourced and mark the rest.
Xcel Energy $200 – $500 Range comes from a secondary source. Xcel's own Colorado program terms have not been read.
SDG&E Unconfirmed Not yet checked against the utility's own pages.
SCE Unconfirmed Not yet checked against the utility's own pages.

Programs that look like rebates and are not

Behavioural credits and commercial make-ready funding turn up in directories under a heading that reads “rebate”. They are worth having. They are not money toward the job, and treating them as such overstates what a homeowner gets at install time.

Florida · make ready
FPL
NONE
Not residential

FPL runs networked Level 2 charger programs, but they are largely commercial and multifamily. There is no residential install rebate for a single-family homeowner.

New York · behavioral credit
NONE
Not an install rebate

SmartCharge Rewards pays roughly $400 a year for charging off-peak. It is a behavioural reward for how you charge, not money toward the install.

New York · make ready
NONE
Not residential

NYSEG's EV funding is make-ready support for non-public charging locations. It is not a residential charger rebate.
